Expensive software decisions, made cheaper to get right.

Dothound is an independent publication about high-ticket B2B technology — the platforms, tools and professional hardware where getting the choice wrong costs real money.

The average team now runs somewhere between 80 and 150 SaaS tools, and a meaningful share of them were bought on the strength of a demo and a sales call. We exist to cut through the noise: fewer, deeper, slower reviews, written by someone who has actually used the product and read the pricing page past the “starting at” number.

We test, not summarise

Every product is used against defined tasks for at least 14 days, logged and dated. No review of something we have not used.

We price the whole thing

Seat minimums, overage charges, implementation fees and the real cost of switching away later — not just the headline number.

We name the loser

Every review identifies the buyer who should not buy. If we cannot name that buyer, we have not tested hard enough.
